  I had eyelid surgery with Dr A and while she was wonderful and the surgery was successful, I had issues with the follow up visits and can only give two stars instead of five based upon what happened. They scheduled my two follow up visits post surgery and with the final one I asked repeatedly, this is a part of the insurance coverage, isn't it, no cost, right? I was told twice that there was no additional cost, once on the phone before the visit and once more at check in. When I went out to check out, I was told that no, in fact they were going to charge my insurance $150 because the appointment was two weeks past the three month cut off date. What? I did not make the appointment, THEY did. When I got home and stewed about it, I ended up calling the business office and they hemmed and hawed and took two days to get back to me. Once again, they stated that since it was past the three month period, the last follow up visit was not covered. I pleaded my case, saying that I did not make these appointment and had I know at check in or when I had the appointment reminder I would have cancelled the last visit! It was not even necessary! Just a quick, oh yeah, you look fine. They were not sympathetic at all to what I was saying. So, all that being said, if you choose this practice be sure to keep this in mind! I won't be back there.
